There are two different QR codes in Welcome Back, and each one has a specific role. Understanding this is key to making your program work from day one.
The business QR is the one you print and place on tables, the counter, or share on social media. The customer scans it with their phone to enroll in the program and add the card to their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
The customer QR is the one that appears on the loyalty card inside the customer's Wallet. The staff scans it using the Welcome Back scanner to register a purchase and add points.
In short: the customer scans the business QR to join. The staff scans the customer QR to award points. These are two separate flows that never overlap.
