🧩 Flexible Setup Based on Service Type
Our scanning system is designed to be flexible and works on any device with a camera — computer, tablet, or smartphone. We suggest adapting the device based on how your business serves customers:
👤 Counter Service (front desk or cashier)
We recommend using a fixed tablet or iPad.
You can also use a computer with a webcam or a plug & play USB QR scanner.
The experience is smoother when the device is mounted and easy to access.
🍽️ Table Service or Delivery
Ideal setup is a mobile phone used by waiters or delivery staff.
We recommend saving the scanner web-app to the home screen for faster access, just like a native app.
📲 Save the Web-App as an App on iPhone/iPad
To access the scanner more easily on iOS, you can add the web-app to your home screen:
Steps (from Safari or Chrome on iOS):
Open the scanner link in Safari or Chrome.
Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow).
Select "Add to Home Screen".
Choose a name (e.g., "Welcome Back") and tap "Add".
👥 Scanner Setup Best Practices
We recommend creating one scanner per location/branch to keep things organized and make it easier to track usage.
Naming guidelines:
Use the format:
store_location
, all lowercase with no spaces.
Examples:
store_downtown
store_lima
Password tips:
Use simple, memorable passwords with at least 6 alphanumeric characters.
Examples:
store123
orlimalocal123
🎥 Camera Permissions Must Be Enabled
The scanner needs access to the device’s camera to work properly. If you see an error when opening the scanner, the browser may not have camera permissions.
How to enable camera access:
On Chrome (iOS or Android):
Tap the lock icon in the address bar.
Go to "Site settings."
Make sure "Camera" is set to Allowed.
On Safari (iPhone/iPad):
Go to Settings > Safari > Camera.
Select "Ask" or "Allow."
If the camera prompt doesn’t show, try opening the link in Incognito Mode or clear your browser cache.
🧠 Efficient Scanner Use
