šŸŽ How to Use the Scanner to Add Points and Redeem Rewards

šŸ”— How to Access the Scanner

You have two ways to access the scanner:

  1. Go directly to scanner web-app from any browser.

  2. Log into your dashboard, go to the ā€œScannersā€ section, and click the ā€œGo to Scannerā€ button for the location you want to operate.


šŸ” Log in with Your Scanner Credentials

Once you’re on the scanner page:

  • Enter the username and password assigned to the scanner for your location.

  • These credentials should be simple and known by your staff.

Important: Remember that scanner credentials are not the same as the credentials for your dashboard.

Scanner credentials will always be visible on the "Scanners" tab in the dashboard. If you don’t have access, contact the administrator of your loyalty program.


šŸ“ø Activate the Camera and Scan the Pass

  • Tap the ā€œOpen Scannerā€ button.

  • The browser will ask for camera access – you must allow it for the scanner to work.

  • Point the camera at the customer’s digital pass QR (in their Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or a saved image).

The system will recognize the customer and display their loyalty progress.


āž• Add Points and Record the Purchase

After scanning the pass, you’ll see the customer’s information:

  • Enter the number of points to award (based on your loyalty logic).

  • Enter the purchase amount (this helps with more complete reports).

  • Click ā€œAdd Points.ā€


šŸŽ Redeem Available Rewards

If the customer has rewards available, they will appear automatically:

  • Click on the reward to redeem it.

  • The system will update the customer’s status and deduct the corresponding points.

This ensures the customer receives their benefits and the business maintains control over reward redemptions.


šŸ“œ Review Customer History

At the bottom of the scanner, you can view:

  • The customer’s complete visit history

  • Previous transactions, including earned points, redemptions, and purchase amounts

This gives you valuable insight into each customer’s behavior and relationship with your business.

  • Keep the camera lens clean for faster scans

  • Use the scanner on a device with a stable internet connection

  • Train your staff to add points and redeem rewards accurately and efficiently
