Can't log into my account — invalid credentials and password recovery

If you see "invalid credentials" when trying to log in and you're sure they're correct, try these quick fixes first: check that your email doesn't have an extra space at the end, make sure Caps Lock is not on, and try from a different browser or incognito mode.

If you created your account with Google, you don't have your own password in Welcome Back — you must always log in using the "Continue with Google" button. You can't recover a password that was never set, but you can add one from Settings → Security once you've logged in with Google.

If you forgot your password, click "Forgot your password?" on the login screen and enter your email. You'll receive a link to create a new password. Also check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within 5 minutes.
