How to create a touchpoint

Touchpoints let you generate custom QR codes for different areas of your business. Each QR is linked to a specific URL and gives you detailed analytics on who scans it, when, and where from.

What is it for?

Touchpoints help you separate and measure your business traffic with precision. For example:

  • Digital menu by table — Create a different QR for each table and see which ones get the most activity.

  • Loyalty card — Generate one QR for your entrance poster, another for your Instagram, and another for a printed flyer. That way you know where your customers are coming from.

  • Landing page — Share your Welcome Back page with a specific QR per channel.

  • Custom links — Create a QR that leads to your reservations page, a promotion, or any external link. Perfect for measuring the performance of specific campaigns or ads.

Touchpoint types

When creating one, you'll choose from these types:

Type

When to use it

Tables

One QR for each table in your venue

Counters

For bars, counters, or service points

Social

For social media like Instagram or Facebook

Form

To capture customer data

Custom

For anything else: reservations, promotions, ads, etc.

How to create one

  1. Go to the Touchpoints section in your Welcome Back dashboard.

  2. Click "New touchpoint" in the upper right corner.

  3. Enter a name to identify it (for example: "Table 10", "Instagram Stories", "Entrance poster").

  4. Choose the type of touchpoint.

  5. Select the destination link — this is where the QR takes people when they scan it.

  6. Done. Your touchpoint is created and you can download the QR to print or share it.
